Open House & Tours

Classic Open House History:

Beginning in 2012, our first open house was initially held for our commercial customers. After receiving some great feedback, we decided to open our gardens and farm to the public. In 2015, we held our first public open house and invited many of our local customers to visit us for a day and enjoy a part of Florida agriculture. 

• Farm Tours: Our caladium farm is about 25 minutes from our warehouse in Avon Park. At the farm in Zolfo Springs, you will get to see our 800+ acres with 300 acres in production. Our farm tour is separate from the warehouse and gardens. Please make your way through the countryside before or after our Gardens and Warehouse.  We have attached a map for your convenience in finding it.  The tours will begin at 8am and run approx. every 45 min.  Along with the tractor ride through the farm, there will be an equipment display and over 8000 unintroduced caladium types for touring at your leisure.   
• Warehouse Tours: Back at our warehouse in Avon Park, customers will have the chance to go on a guided tour through our warehouse which showcases our unique processes such as bulb grading and curing. 
• Caladium Garden Tours: You will also have a chance to walk through our 2 acre garden which features planters and lifestyle areas. Our grower carefully plans each bed and hopefully will inspire you to plant caladiums in your garden in the future.
