Gorgeous caladiums! This variety was the most beautiful I have planted in several years. I will used them again and again! With our extreme temperatures this summer they have gone down sooner than in more normal summers.
I found this one potted & labeled at Lowe’s 3 years ago. I think it was a single bulb. It was actively growing and $8 in a 1 quart (?) pot. I bumped it up to a 12” clay pot. It grew and multiplied beautifully all summer. The rose color is not quite as vivid as on my screen, but it is a clear and eye-catching color. I let it die back in it’s pot for the winter. When I started watering it again in May the bulbs sprouted again very nicely and filled the pot for another season. I just started watering it again for this year. Expecting a lovely repeat! Since then, I discovered Classic Caladiums and have ordered directly from them. Much better prices, wonderful selections, and excellent quality bulbs. I would add more every year if my budget allowed. (The prices are very fair especially for the quality! I just have limited funds.)
