Colocasia Mojito Elephant Ears

Alocasia Elephant Ears

Going tropical could not be easier...

These beautiful elephant ears look terrific in the landscape, and as a topper, they look even better in a patio pot or in the house or office!

The big difference between Alocasias and Colocasias is which way the leaf tip points. If the tips are reaching for the sky, you have an Alocasia. Id the tip of the leaf is pointing towards the ground, that's a Colocasia. Hilo Beauty  (below) violates he rule, it's on probation until it behaves.

Planting and growing elephant ears is easy. They do go dormant and zones 7-4 may want to bring them inside when the frost hits.  Look to purchase these elephant ears early - they sell out quickly.
